Fall/Winter Youth Media Camps are quickly approaching, and we need friendly and helpful volunteers to assist campers and instructors in the movie-making process.
Volunteers help the lead instructor with pre-production, production, and post-production of campers' videos (setting up tripods and cameras, using iMovie and/or Adobe Premiere).
Media arts experience is not necessary, but it is preferred. Anyone with classroom experience or experience working with youth ages 6-13 is a plus.
The daily camp schedule is from 8:30am-3pm. Some campers stay for After-Care until 5pm.

MACSD has been changing lives through film and technology for the past 25 years. Some of the key programs and services of Media Arts Center San Diego include: Youth Media/Education Programs (i.e. Teen Producers Project, Youth Media & Tech Camps, etc.). Exhibition (i.e. Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival, Monthly Cinema en tu Idioma Series, Digital Gym CINEMA North Park, Que Viva Cine Latino, etc.). Community Production (i.e. Video Production Services, Speak City Heights, Fiscal Sponsorship, Frontera Filmmakers, etc.).
