Looking for a cause to volunteer your time? Want to help children receive the best educational opportunities and have a passion for reading and math? We need volunteers for our childrens reading and math club for elementary children ages 4-9. Our programming is expanding and we need committed Saturday morning volunteers to help us. We need people to help run reading and math circles to help these young children develop the skills they need to succeed in school and life. You must be 14 or older for this position. Children Across America is a 501C3 childrens non profit with our primary location in Milford MA. If you are interested in this position, either call us at 508-933-8915 or respond to this posting. This is an Saturday morning program from 930 AM till 11 AM.

Children Across America is a 501 (c)(3) (EIN 27-0355388), humanitarian organization. Children Across America provides literacy support and preventative healthcare to underserved children in the United States. Its vision is to empower families and children in low income communities. Its unique programs are focused on improving children’s educational excellence and health. The organization partners with local libraries, school systems healthcare advocates and hospitals to ensure children get the full benefit of its programs. We provide a free alternative program to underserved families with students in grades K-5, who can't afford a private tutor, or professional tutoring services such as Kaplan or Kumon.
Description
CAA has a combination of medical and educational programming.
Our main educational program is a STEM and Coding program for all children. We also focus on children K-5 grade that come from families that English is not their first language. Our Summer Reading and Math Club (Children's Book Club) and our Saturday Reading and Math club's goal is to raise the level of literacy in America's children. Our Math Clubs are to help develop children's basic math skills. We help all children but our main focus is the underserved population of America. Our signature program is our Summer STREAM and Girls Love to Code Club, that runs from July through August and our Saturday STREAM and Girls Love to Code Club that runs each Saturday.
Our main medical program and focus of our medical programming is Health Promotion in motion. This is a immunization and preventative healthcare initiative focused on making sure every child in America is immunized per CDC guidelines and has healthcare coverage. We are a vendor for the State for Mass healthcare signps.
