Greet patrons, provide general information about the Bancroft Library and its collections, evaluate whether Bancroft’s collections will meet patrons needs, verify bibliographic citations and refer patrons to other libraries when necessary.
Following established written procedures, register patrons to use Bancroft materials, provide necessary introductory information and instruction, and explain rules and procedures of the reading room.
Screen exiting patrons to insure security of the Bancroft collections.
VOLUNTEER POSITION REQUIRES PREVIOUS LIBRARY EXPERIENCE.
