KYRS Street Team
Help staff KYRS information tables at community events and service fairs. This is a great way to spread the word about KYRS, hang out with other volunteers and have fun. You may also help by putting up posters and handing out flyers around town at specified locations. We especially need people to hand out flyers at ArtFest, HoopFest, Unity in the Community, etc. Email Jim at volunteercoordinator@kyrs.org if you're interested.

Mission Statement
KYRS Thin Air Community Radio fills needs that other media do not, providing programming to diverse communities and unserved or underserved groups. Thin Air Radio provides a forum for neglected perspectives and discussions on important local, national and global issues, reflecting values of peace, social, economic and environmental justice, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, freedom of expression and social change. Thin Air's arts, cultural, and music programming covers a wide spectrum of expression from traditional to experimental and reflects the diverse cultures Thin Air serves. Thin Air Radio strives for spontaneity and program excellence, both in content and technique.
Description
Thin Air Community Radio is run almost entirely by volunteers from the community, people like you who have a passion for independent music and ideas. All locally produced programs are hosted by volunteers.
