Discovery happens outdoors too! The Discovery Museums have 10 garden spaces as well as wooded areas on the museum property. Join our Exhibits and Facilities Director to assist in maintaining gardens and grounds. Work ranges from light gardening and planting to jobs with heavier lifting.

Mission Statement
The Discovery Museums inspire enduring curiosity and love of learning through interactive discovery, hands-on inquiry and scientific investigation.
The Discovery Museums will be the leading regional resource for the advocacy of discovery learning and environmental stewardship. We will provide engaging and supportive settings for hands-on experiential learning and scientific investigation. TDM will nurture curiosity and creativity, while fostering the exchange of ideas and life-long learning. Children, adults, and educators will be inspired to be informed and contributing community members.
Description
The Discovery Museums is comprised of two buildings on our 4-plus acre campus. At the
Children's Discovery Museums, younger children (toddlers through early grades) learn while they play. At the Science Discovery Museum, children and adults of all ages explore scientific concepts and hands-on creativity.
