Education Interns are critical to fulfilling the EPZ’s mission of engaging and inspiring guests to better understand and preserve wildlife. Education Interns assist with the keeping and training of our education ambassador animal collection. They shadow educators as they care for, handle, and utilize our education ambassador animals to engage the public in the zoo's conservation mission. Education Interns receive practical experience speaking with the public assisting with on and off-site programs. They also participate in developing and implementing lesson plans and activities designed to inspire our guests to better care for wildlife!
