About

This position is perfect for anyone who enjoys learning about wildlife and wants to inspire others. Junior Education Volunteers are critical to fulfilling the EPZ’s mission of engaging and inspiring the local community to better understand and preserve wildlife. Volunteers attend special training sessions in order to prepare them for their many roles. Assignments include exhibit interpretation, help with on and off-site education programs, seasonal exhibit support, behavior observation, special event assistance and much more!

This is a competitve program and spaces are limited.

Requirements & Commitment

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 14
  • Orientation or Training
  • 80 hours per year; one year commitment
  • Background check, proof of current Tetanus vaccination and Tuberculosis test
