About

St. Francis Humane Association is seeking cat lovers to assist at our adoption events. We currently hold adoption stands every Saturday at the Petco store in Westchester Commons (routes 60 and 288) and rotating Saturdays at the Petco store in Steinmart Festival Shopping Center (Midlothian Turnpike and Robious Road) and the Petco store in the Village at Swift Creek (routes 360 and 288). Volunteers arrive by 11:45 AM to set up and the stand ends at 3 PM and volunteers leave after breaking down the stand. Responsibilities include setting up the stand, greeting the public, answering questions regarding our adoptable cats and kittens, assisting interested adopters with interacting with the cats and kittens, and breaking down the stand. Volunteers typically work one to two stands a month based on their availability. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in helping very deserving homeless cats and kittens find wonderful forever homes!
