The Historic Trust is excited for this year’s Independence Day at Fort Vancouver presented by the Columbia Credit Union.
The Historic Trust is seeking 100 dedicated volunteers to lend a hand at one of Vancouver’s most iconic summer events, Independence Day at Fort Vancouver on Thursday, July 4, 2019. Last year more than 100 volunteers helped at the event, which was attended by more than 25,000 people.
In addition to attending the event as a spectator, we hope you will give a few hours of your time volunteering with us to make it a great event for the entire community. Volunteers are the most important part of making this event a success. Generous people like you make this community event possible. Volunteer shifts are just a few hours long, plus a short training session prior to event day. Benefits include parking pass, T-shirt, water bottle, and snacks.
Individuals, service organizations, corporate groups and all others are encouraged to volunteer to help at the gates, work at information booths, help at the first aid station, or be a parking lot attendant.
