We are looking for volunteers who:
Have a love of cooking and plenty of cooking experience (professional experience preferred).
Are comfortable teaching and mentoring young people and can help maximize learning for our teen chefs.
Notice and use "teaching moments" that involve them in the thinking about the community.
Have the ability to work in a loosely structured and sometimes chaotic environment.
Have experience with whole foods cooking
We cook and prepare meals every Tuesday from 12-6 at our Meals 4 Health and Healing kitchen in Green Hills. We ask for a commitment of at least 3 hours a month.
