Fondy Food Pantry "Food for Thought" Volunteers sort food and pack small bags with food items. Volunteers are needed September through May one to two times per month on Wednesdays 1:30pm - 3:00pm or Thursdays 9:30am - 11:00am. The "Food for Thought" program provides nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks to over 400 elementary school age children on holidays and weekends throughout the school year.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for individuals age 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers choose when, where and how long they would like to serve at schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while they serve. There is a pre-service orientation, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
