The corrosive influence of organized crime, and the stark reality of its ruthless violence, took time to hit home. During Prohibition, the Mob helped people put the "happy" in Happy Hour. But as organized crime expanded, concerned citizens demanded action. In 1950, the U.S. Senate, led by Tennessee Senator Estes Kefauver, launched a high-profile inquiry, holding hearings in 14 cities across the country, including one in the building that now houses The Mob Museum.

Join the family and spend some time making history and become a Volunteer Courtroom Attendant with The Mob Museum!

You will provide a welcoming, friendly impression by interacting with Museum guests as they endeavor on our most historic exhibit - the Courtroom - site of the Kefauver Hearings in downtown Las Vegas. You will be posted outside the Courtroom entrance and will provide a brief overview of the exhibit, interacting with guests prior to and after the experience.

Fill out our online volunteer application to get the process started! You can find the application at: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?AP=1022793827
