The Children's Museum of Tacoma is a unique community resource that celebrates the power of play in the lifelong journey of learning. At the Children's Museum of Tacoma we want to ensure that every child and family can come play, so we offer Pay As You Will admission. Eliminating cost barriers means the Museum has a greater capacity to reach more families, engage more children in playful learning and support more parents.
Right to Play GALA is the Children’s Museum of Tacoma’s largest fundraiser. This is an exclusive opportunity where friends and benefactors of the Children’s Museum of Tacoma s will enjoy special tasting experiences, entertainment, games, and an auction: all benefiting the new Children's Museum of Tacoma

Description
Greentrike is a nonprofit that advocates for and models equitable access to playful experiences for children, youth, and families because play is essential for learning, joy, and a thriving community.
Greentrike powers museums, programs, and initiatives honoring children, youth, and families in Pierce County. Founded as the Children’s Museum of Tacoma in 1985, the organization later transitioned into Greentrike in 2019 after growth that made the organization more than a museum.
Today, Greentrike powers the Children’s Museums of Tacoma and at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, featuring a first-in-kind donation-based admission model known as Pay As You Will. Greentrike champions play through innovative programs like Preschool Powered by Play, Play to Learn, and Virtual Play to Learn. Greentrike carries out its mission of honoring children and youth through comprehensive initiatives. As of 2021, Greentrike serves as the Out-of-School Time Intermediary (OSTI) to deliver Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) across Pierce County.
