Online Book Sale Volunteer: Help raise new funds for programing at the Palo Alto Library by selling used books online with services such as eBay. We already run a successful used book sale in Palo Alto, bringing in over $19,000 p/m. And many of the 40,000 books in our inventory can fetch higher prices online, where buyers from all over the world can find and bid on the books. We have had great successes selling online. We need people once trained(by our experienced book evaluators) to list books online , answer questions via e-mail from cusotmers, prepare shipping information for completed sales and deliver to the post office. You can work from any Internet-connected computer at home or work alongside other volunteers at our booksale room in south Palo Alto.
