Interested in utilizing or growing your office skills?

We are looking for a few friendly volunteers to support our several of our teams (Center for Grienf & Healing, Accounting, & In-Take) two to four hours (weekly or biweekly). Tasks would include helping with basic clerical tasks like filing, making copies, making packets, etc. Volunteer shifts are flexible Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Mission Statement

The mission of Hinds Hospice is to uphold the dignity and ease the suffering of the terminally ill while supporting their loved ones, and those who are grieving.


Established in 1981, Hinds Hospice serves Fresno, Madera and Merced counties with many needs based services. Hinds Hospice maintains the only inpatient Hospice Home in Fresno, Madera and Merced counties; provides outpatient hospice care where you live; provides a pediatric hospice program for infants and children; provides services for families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss; offers grief support groups specific to loss; formally educates family practice physicians from Children's Hospital of Central California, UC San Francisco, and UC Davis on end-of-life care; operates 5 thrift stores in the communities we serve; and is the only Hospice organization offering this wide array of services in the Central San Joaquin Valley.
