Silverdale Volunteer Fire Company is a small all volunteer emergency services organization that provides Fire, Rescue,and Emergency Medical services to Silverdale Borough and a large portion of Hilltown Township. Membership opportunities are available to fit almost any schedule and level of interest, from a few hours a year helping at fund-raising functions, through a few hours a month as an administrative or house member, up to fully active responding personnel to provide emergency services.

Volunteers are primarily recruited from our service area, although there are membership opportunities available for those outside the immediate area. If you are unsure about which local fire company is your primary provider, please contact us and we will be happy to help you find "your" fire company.

The minimum age to become involved in our "Junior" program is 14 (with parental consent) which will allow you to participate in all company activities, as well as respond to emergency calls (with restrictions based on required safety regulations). Volunteers 18 and older are eligible for full participation.
