Ronald McDonald House volunteers give their time and talents to provide a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals.
Van Drivers are responsible for transporting guest families to and from the hospital, special projects that involve some lifting, and other errands as needed.
Van drivers must be 21 years of age or older, in good physical condition, possess a valid driver's license, pass a background check, and complete a training session. Volunteers are required to make a one year commitment to work a 4.5 hour shift month with a one year commitment.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its programs are grassroots-driven to enable the Charity to offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which help in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have awarded more than $460 million in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
