ASSE International Student Exchange Program

Looking for self-motivated, outgoing, reliable, diverse individuals in the Las Virgenes area of California. ASSE is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating lifelong relationships with foreign exchange students & American families. ASSE provides semester & academic year exchange programs in the United States for high school-aged students (15 -18 years old) from around the World. As an ASSE Local Representative, you will be making a difference in the world, one young person at a time.

All applicants must be at least 26 years old.

DUTIES: Recruiting families to host a student(s), maintaining contact with students & families for the duration of the student's stay in the US, and documenting interaction with students & families. You will receive training and ongoing support from your ASSE Area Coordinator and the full ASSE team. The Area Representative position is a part-time, stipend-paid position and many of our area representatives work other full-time jobs. ASSE's Area Representatives are the foundation of the organization that makes this all possible.

  • Monthly Contact with Student and host Family by phone or in person. Three activities throughout the year (10 months). Depending on how many students you have. Estimated time 2 to 5 hours a month.
