ORGANIZATION: Hospice Plus - Bellaire

Joining our Tree of Live Volunteer Program through participating in one or more of the following OR offer your idea for an activity:

Visiting a Patient: Compassionate presence - no physical care

Support for a Caregiver: Compassionate presence, sitting with patient while caregiver rests or runs errands

Communication: Graphic artist, newsletter, brochures, posters, Face Book, blog, creating You Tube videos on hospice

Tuck-In Calls: Checking on patients and caregivers

Bereavement: Help with mail outs and check-in calls to bereaved

Music: Singing or playing an instrument for a patient/facility

Activities Assistant: Help nursing home/assisted living facilities with events, games, parties, festivities, outings

Hospice Basics Presenter: Trained to offer hospice information/education to groups
