Description: Volunteers are needed to help with general building duties. Traning, tools and equipment are provided. Opportunities range from general carpentry, to electrical, to HVAC. Volunteers can also help with painting and landscaping. Our current home development is in East Flat Rock, NC.
Skills: It is not necessary for volunteers to come with experiences...just a willingness to help and ability to learn.
About our Local Habitat: In 2017, Henderson County Habitat for Humanity, a faith-based organization, merged with Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity to help them meet the need for affordable housing in Polk County and Landrum, SC. We build quality affordable homes, creates strong communities, and changes lives by partnering with committed volunteers, professional staff, and eligible families living in inadequate housing.
