Volunteer to tutor motivated middle and high school students with The Steppingstone Foundation! Steppingstone prepares underserved Boston schoolchildren to gain admission to and succeed at top independent and exam schools and universities. The primary focus of SMASH is to provide academic resources and assistance to the Scholars through 12th grade.

The program is also set up to encourage relationships that go well beyond just academic support. SMASH (Saturday Mentoring And Study Hall) is held Saturday mornings throughout the academic school year. During SMASH, volunteers work with Scholars in small groups or one-on-one to help them with their schoolwork. Steppingstone SMASH volunteers are a group of adults who value their own education and wish to help others excel in theirs.

We ask for a minimum of a one-Saturday-per-month commitment. Please visit http://www.tsf.org/contact-2/volunteers-form/ to apply.
