AlterMed Research Foundation supports holistic health research, education, patient access of evidence-based integrative medicine and complementary & alternative medicine. Imagine someday all cancer and chronic illness can be prevented and/or cured via integrative approaches (bridging evidence-based holistic medicine and conventional medicine).


AlterMed is looking for a web designer who is well versed in website design and ongoing maintenance using web editing & publishing / software tools such as Wordpress. This person must be detailed oriented and accurate with data and information provided. Website look / feel and information must be consistent with AlterMed's mission and marketing goals. Prefer candidates to have a bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or certificate in a technology-related subject. This will preferably be in web design, graphics design, and / or computer science. Other relevant skills and qualifications:

  • WordPress development experience
  • Good visual design sense
  • Experience in responding well to clients’ design requests
  • HTML and CSS
  • Experience with design software (e.g., Photoshop)
  • Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design
  • Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
