The Talk Time Program provides immigrants and refugees with opportunities to practice conversational English in a social setting. Volunteers work as a team to plan and facilitate small group discussions at the following Library locations:
Beacon Hill Branch: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Central Library: Monday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Central Library: Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Lake City Branch: Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Facilitators are asked to volunteer for at least six months. Please contact our Volunteer Services Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org for information about volunteer openings.
