740 Kay AvenueSt. Paul, MN 55102

We're looking for exceptional individuals to offer end-of-life companionship to persons of all backgrounds and beliefs, both at home and in care facilities, including our St. Paul and St. Louis Park campuses. After comprehensive training, volunteers commit to weekly visits that might include reading aloud, playing cards or bingo, looking at photos, writing life stories, doing light household chores, providing certified pet therapy, and sitting vigil during a person's last hours of life. Most often, however, volunteers provide comfort by listening. In addition to good listeners, we are looking for volunteers who speak Russian, Yiddish, or Spanish as well as English.
