Who are we?

Habitat ReStores are reuse stores operated by New Castle County Habitat for Humanity. ReStores accept donations and sell a constantly changing inventory of diverse, high-quality merchandise to the public at a fraction of the retail price, while diverting reusable household items and building materials from area landfills.

Sales of donated items help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes in your community and around the world - a good deal for you, your community and the environment. Together, we can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better future while creating stronger neighborhoods.

We are looking for volunteers who are able and willing to volunteer at our Wilmington and Middletown ReStores. Volunteers help with unloading and processing donations, pricing items, assisting customers, building product displays and rearranging items around the store. It's also a great opportunity for you to meet new people, have fun, and work toward our mission of affordable housing for all!

We offer shifts Tuesday-Saturday, and are flexible to you and your availability! We are always in need of recurring volunteers, or Regulars! Please follow up in your inquiry if this would be of interest to you.
