Interact directly with program participants and the public at Shop for Change, PRISM's Thrift Shop. These positions are great for outgoing, friendly, and energetic volunteers. Volunteers in the thrift shop assist customers, maintain appealing displays, and run the cash register. Volunteers in the back room help with accepting donations, sorting, pricing, and keeping the store stocked.
PRISM relies on a dedicated and talented core of volunteers - last year volunteers gave over 27,000 hours of their time to PRISM! Scheduling is flexible and most volunteers work two- or four-hour shifts during PRISM’s hours (Monday-Friday 9 am -5 pm) although hours vary by position.
