ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte

  • 55 people are interested

Refugees resettled here from refugee camps around the world arrive with few posessions and sometimes very little knowledge of the culture and way of life in the US. Mentors work with Case Managers and are connected with refugee clients for the purpose of assisting with acclimation to their new home. A friend who can show them the basics can make a huge difference in the refugee's experience. Training is provided.
