Goodwill is looking for somebody that is willing to make phone calls and send emails to churches and organizations in central Iowa looking for partners to help us set up donation drives in their area. For this opportunity you would be given a list of towns where Goodwill would like to hold a donation drive. You would then research churches and other organizations in that area and reach out to them with the opportunity and details. Good phone skills and not being offended by being told no are needed for this volunteer opportunity.

You would receive training at our corporate headquarters, 4900 NE 22nd St in Des Moines. To start with you would also work out of this location. However, this could be an opportunity you could do from home if you have internet access and a phone and would prefer to work from home.

You would work with and report to our volunteer coordinator. This opportunity can be a few hours a month or a week it is up to you and your schedule. It is a very flexible opportunity. This position can play an important role in helping Goodwill raise more donations which will mean we can support more job training and placement opportunities for those we serve.
