Flexible days!! The success of our meals for seniors delivery program depends on both substitute and regular route drivers (one day per week, M-F). PLOWS Council on Aging relies on dedicated volunteers to deliver meals, 9 a.m. M-F, for our Home Delivered Meals Program. The meals are critical for allowing home-bound older adults to remain in their homes, and act as a daily well-being check for this vulnerable population. Change a life with a commitment of 2 to 3 hours weekly or as an on-call substitute driver. Contact us at 708-361-0219 or by email, c.suddreth@plows.org or hdm@plows.org. We can't do this without you!

PLOWS delivers meals in the south suburban communities Cook County towns in Palos and Orland Townships.

Volunteers must have their own cars, but are given a stipend to offset the personal cost. Proof of insurance required. Applicants must submit to a background check. Interested persons train with experienced drivers.
