Help eliminate hunger in your community by signing up to volunteer for Westside Food Bank’s 28th Annual Hunger Walk. Each year, over 500 LA residents come together to raise funds and awareness about hunger in our local community. We need volunteers to help before the event, during the walk, and at the after-party. Volunteers will have the ability to make a great impact as every dollar that is raised from the Hunger Walk will provide 4 meals to our neighbors in need.

We are looking for volunteers to work one shift or the whole event:

Set Up & Registration: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Help put signage up around the area so nearby people know how to get to the walk. Help set up the Family Fun Zone, Registration Booth, Raffle area, and staging area. Check walkers in, pass out t-shirts, and assist with running games.

Course Crew: 2:00-5:00pm

Help the race run smoothly by providing walkers with directions, water, and cheers. Assemble gift bags for the walkers to grab after they finish walking. Assist at the Beach Bash After Party. Help clean up the area so we leave the beach as beautiful as we found it!
