We are seeking volunteer teams and individuals to prepare and serve a hot meal on a final Saturday of the month or to fill in for a corporate group on a Thursday. If you are looking for an opportunity for your business, or as an individual to volunteer or if you want to gather a group of friends, we have a place for you to cook and serve! Preparation begins at 9:00 am. Meal is served from noon until 1:00 pm. We provide a team leader and all of the food from our pantry on site.

Join a community of folks who love to cook for, converse with, serve and be served by the community around them. We are located at 530 W Fullerton Parkway in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

This is an excellent opportunity for people to volunteer in a fun, safe, environment, either on a regular or periodic basis. We open our doors to anyone who is in need of a hot meal, and are funded by corporate donations, grants, and individual donors, with no government assistance.

We suggest to groups interested in going above and beyond to conduct a clothes, toiletry, or canned food drive to bring with you so our Initiative operations can remain stocked for our guests. Email us for further details and ask how you can get involved in our Initiatives beyond the kitchen!

The summer schedule only provides hot meals on Corporate Thursdays which are currently booked up through August. Please ask about our Youth Initiative dinners on Monday evenings starting in September!
