Presidio Trust Stewards

Help maintain and enhance the Presidio’s historic gardens and landscaped areas, Rob Hill Campground, trails, and reforestation areas. Activities include planting, weeding, caring for young trees, and trail maintenance and improvements. Get to know new areas of the Presidio while enjoying a day in this spectacular park!

  • Presidio Campground Stewards:
    1st Tuesday of the month, 10 am-1 pm.
  • Presidio Forest Stewards:
    1st and 2nd Friday of the month, 9 am-noon.
  • Presidio Garden Stewards:
    3rd Thursday of the month, 10 am-1 pm.
  • Presidio Trail Stewards:
    2nd Tuesday of the month, 10 am-1 pm.

Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Agreement Form and volunteers under the age of 18 must have the parent/guardian approval section signed.

Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Bring layers for changing weather and rain gear if necessary. Bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.
