Kitchen Helper volunteers may serve at any of Harford County's senior centers (Aberdeen, Bel Air, Edgewood, Fallston, Havre de Grace). Volunteers will serve food, wash dishes and trays, clean tables, wrap utensils, carry lunch trays to members who are unable to carry one, and/or be a "lunch buddy" and eat lunch with a new member or someone who is alone. Since senior center volunteers are so vital in creating a positive atmosphere, we ask that volunteers present a professional appearance and a friendly attitude! Kitchen Helpers must undergo a mandatory kitchen training and learn about basic food handling safety measures. Must be willing to abide by the guidelines and procedures outlined in our Volunteer Handbook. Senior Centers are open Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
