Prerequisites: Grant writing experience. Knowledge of animal rescue community in Chicago. Six month minimum commitment required. One year minimum commitment preferred. Great opportunity for someone looking to expand one’s leadership skills!
Tasks include the following responsibilities:
Coordinating monthly team meetings
Understanding the scope of programming at ALIVE Rescue
Communicating with Board of Directors about ongoing opportunities and tasks
Supporting grant team coordinators as needed
Tracking grant opportunities and project timelines
Completing assigned grants and tasks in a timely and professional manner
Providing follow up reports to funders
Onboarding new grant team members
Investigating new grant opportunities
Providing written feedback on grants as needed
- Providing boilerplate materials to grant team members as needed

We take on the responsibility to save, rehabilitate and place abandoned, abused and stray animals. We provide medical, behavioral and physical support for animals despite their age, health and/or breed. Description
ALIVE Rescue is a volunteer run organization who rescues cats and dogs who would otherwise be euthanized. ALIVE is proud to be the first green animal rescue in Chicago.
