Docents form an essential part of the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum’s mission to share the Chinese American experience and history with our community.

Once the museum reopens (projected for late Winter or early Spring 2022), docents will help facilitate interactive tours to museum guests, school groups, and help run the monthly Docent-Led tour for Asian Pacific Historic District Walking Tour on the second Saturday of the month.

Docents will develop public speaking experience, customer service skills, and enjoy thoughtful conversations about multicultural history with visitors.
