Kindred Hospice is currently looking for an office volunteer to make weekly phone calls to home patients. The "Tuck in Call" Volunteer would make calls to home patients to ensure their personal supply needs are met for the upcoming weekend while offering social support. Usually, most of the calls are social support. You become someone to talk to and offer support since our nursing staff is amazing at keeping supplies filled. The estimated hours for this volunteer will be around 2-3 hours a week on Thursdays with flexible hours between 9am & 4pm or Friday mornings. A script will be provided to utilize when making the calls. Direct supervision/training will be provided. You're never alone while performing this task in our office. This extra customer service makes a difference in the lives of our patients and their caregivers. It's the extra touch we provide at Kindred Hospice.

MUST BE VACCINATED for COVID. Not asking for boosters.

The ideal candidate loves to talk on the phone and be supportive. As previously stated, most calls have no needs so the calls are very social.

For more information on this supportive opportunity, please contact, Corrie Johnson, Manager of Volunteer Services, at (314) 275-6100 or Corinne.Johnson@kindredhospicecare.com. Thanks you! We look forward to hearing from you!
