Community Connections is offering a drug disposal program at the Platte River Mall, 1000 South Dewey Street, on the second Saturday of each month, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. This program is an excellent way to dispose of all your prescriptions and over the counter medications that are expired or no longer needed. The medications are turned over to the Nebraska State Patrol who destroys them in an environmentally friendly manner. In partnership with Keep North Platte Lincoln County Beautiful, the bottles and other packaging are recycled. Volunteers are needed to help with this event.

Please call RSVP for more information.

The 2019 dates are as follows:

Saturday, July 20th; Saturday, August 17th; Saturday, September 21st; Saturday, October 19th, Saturday November 16th; and Saturday, December 21st.
