Affinis Hospice...adding more life to each day
Do you find is easy to care for others? Do you enjoy listening to stories? Volunteering with hospice might be for you. Our volunteers add more life to each day for our patients by providing companionship and for their care-givers by providing a much neede break. Volunteer in your local community on days and times that fit your schedule: as little as 1 hour a week or 2-4 hours at a time, one to two times a month.
Office volunteers also needed.
Application, interview, fingerprints, health and drug screen required at our expense - not the volunteer's. Comprehensive training provided - Also at our expense. Orientation held monthly.

Description
At Affinis Hospice, comfort, care and support of terminally ill patients and their families is the foundation of our personalized approach to health care. Individualized care provided by a collaborative team of medical personnel, members of the clergy, and local volunteers, is designed to meet the varied needs of both the patient and their family members.
Affinis Hospice provides prompt, courteous service, including same day referrals and admissions. We welcome any patient with a qualifying hospice diagnosis. Hospice care is a covered benefit under Medicare, Medicaid and many private health insurance plans. As a non-profit organization, Affinis accepts any patient regardless of their ability to pay.
Thirteen counties are covered by the Affinis Hospice Newnan office; however, Affinis covers most of the state of Georgia.CAUSE AREAS
