Kaiser Hospice San Jose seeking Office Volunteer 2 hours per week

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Kaiser Permanente South Bay Hospice

Kaiser Hospice provides medical care for patients who are at the end-of-life. We are looking for an office volunteer who can work at our 50 Great Oaks business office for 4-6 hours per month. These hours can be either once per week for 2 hours, or every other week for 4 hours. We are very flexible, and you can choose the day of the week you want to provide the hours (Monday - Friday during business hours). Your job will be to help us mail out notecards to families on our service who have just lost a loved one. You will learn how to use our medical database and work in the office with our hospice care team.

All Kaiser Hospice staff, including volunteers, are required to wear a face mask in the office. We are very mindful of COVID safety.

Kaiser Bereavement provides a free, comprehensive orientation and training to assure that our volunteers acquire all the skills and competencies needed to feel comfortable in their role.
