Brookline Lab Rescue is a Foster Home based Rescue without a Kennel Facility. We are always looking for more foster homes to provide temporary housing for displaced Labradors. Brookline pays for all necessary vet care of the dogs and can provide basic supplies including crates, collars, harnesses and leashes. Each Foster Dog also receives a Care package including treats and toys. All new Foster Homes are provided with a Mentor to help them navigate the Foster Process and answer any questions you may have along the way.
Brookline volunteers from New Jersey to Penn State and Allentown to Delaware communicate via e-mail on a closed group site creating a community that can offer suggestions and support.
When dogs are ready to be placed, Foster Homes are provided with information on approved families to allow them to pick the "best fit" for their Foster dog.

Mission Statement
The purpose of Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. is : 1) to remove Labrador Retrievers from situations that are not ideal, such as shelters and homes where they are unwanted or where owners can no longer appropriately care for the dogs. 2) to educate the public regarding the history and facts pertaining to Labrador Retrievers and responsible dog ownership. 3) to be a resource for area Labrador Retriever owners, and other dog owners, regarding proper care and treatment of their dogs. 4) to engage in other activities related to educating the public about Labrador Retrievers and various aspects of dog ownership.
Description
We are a small groups of volunteers, spread throughout the state of PA and parts of NJ, and De working toward a common goal. We do not currently have a shelter, but work with foster homes to house Labs until an adoptive family can be found and approved for adoption.
