Lanakila Meals on Wheels delivers meals to our kupuna island-wide. Our program provides vital nutrition and a lifeline that can help keep a senior healthy and in their home.

We are actively seeking MEAL DELIVERERS to pick up meals AFTER WORK or ON SATURDAY for delivery on the West Side! Drive meals out and make a quick detour on the way home to bring dinner to a needy senior, knowing you're making a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable folks of our community!


Or make it a family affair and teach the keiki service and pick up meals on SATURDAY and deliver with the 'ohana!

Lanakila Meals on Wheels is a program of Lanakila Pacific, a 501(c)(3) organization offering assistance programs and operating social enterprises to build independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive, physical, social or age-related challenges. Since 1939, our vision has been to embody self-sufficiency and inspire inclusive communities where people of all ages and abilities are empowered to live independently, find meaningful employment and thrive in spirit.

Description

As the only island-wide senior meal delivery service, Lanakila Meals on Wheels served 2,700 seniors and provided over 576,000 meals in FY21 - all thanks to our wonderful volunteers. Our meals are nutritious, providing homebound, low-income, or isolated kupuna with the boost they need to continue living with dignity at home. And it's more than just a meal - valuable interactions with staff and volunteers provide the aloha and wellness checks often missing from the lives of solitary seniors.
