Life's WORC is a non-profit Agency based in Garden City that provides services to disabled individuals. We are seeking a volunteer to assist in one of a few teams in our Garden City office (Franklin Avenue). If you are interested in assisting us with filing, organizing, reception, data entry and scanning 4 - 8 hrs per week (any combination of one or two days) then please apply! We need your assistance!

Our mission is to provide services that facilitate an independent life experience for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental retardation and autism.
Description
Life's WORC is a human service agency advocating for the rights and well being of individuals with developmental disabilities, mental retardation and autism.
Through person centered planning, the organization provides residential services, family supports and 13 non-residential community based programs throughout Queens, Nassau and Suffok Counties.
Programs and services include homes in local communities, Day Habilitation, Weekend Respite Recreation, After School Creative Arts and Music Therapy, Case Management, In-Home Residential Habilitation just to name some of our programs.
