Phone counselors provide support, information and referral services to callers from 6-9, Monday through Friday at The Center for Youth's office, 905 Monroe Ave. Volunteers work WITH a Center counselor offering support to callers in crisis, youth looking for emergency housing, or just someone to talk to. The responsibilities for volunteers include working a shift every other week, i.e. every other Monday evening, or just once a month. We ill work around your schedule. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old, reliable, and dependable. Volunteers must pass a NYS Central Register clearance background check. Training is provided.

  • evening / 06:00 PM to 09:00 PM
    M-F, once a week, once a month, whatever works in your schedule.
