Knitting or Crocheting Lap Blankets for Hospice Patients

Embracing HospiceCare - Mercer County

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 44 people are interested

Mercer County volunteers use their talents to create lap blankets for our terminally ill patients. Many of our patients enjoy the warmth and comfort a blanket can provide. We find the best size blanket is 36" by 36"--large enough to cover a lap, yet small enough to not get stuck in wheelchair wheels. The stitch and color are up to you, the artist!

If you possess talents in sewing, quilting, crocheting, and knitting or in the making of blankets, please contact Dana at 732-974-2545 or simply send an email through Volunteer Match.
