The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. Chop, Cook and Create a meal for homeless young adults in our emergency shelter program. Cook dinner for residents Monday - Sunday from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. OR prepare breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
This facility serves over 800 meals a month with the help of volunteers in an on-site commercial kitchen. Following the menu and ingredients provided by our Chef, volunteers prep, cook and serve the meal, cafeteria style.
