Chop, Cook and Create a meal for homeless young adults in our transitional living program. Cook dinner for residents Monday - Sunday from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. OR prepare breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00-10:00 a.m.

This site serves over 800 meals a month with the help of volunteers. We have a full kitchen on-site with the all of the tools needed. Following the instructions from our Chef, create a meal from scratch or warm up a pre-made meal. Our Chef creates a menu and provides instructions on the meal for the day.

Duties Include:

  • Basic food prep
  • Peeling, cutting and chopping produce
  • Utilizing the stove top or oven
  • Serving the meal
  • Washing dishes and basic kitchen clean up

This volunteer activity is great for groups of 4-6. Bring your family, co-workers or friends and help serve up a dose of hope.
