Dogs on Deployment is a national organization that helps service men and women find temporary homes / fosters for their pets when they are deployed somewhere they can't take their pets.
The 4th annual Redneck Run will be donating a portion of the proceeds to help Dogs on Deployment here in Arizona. The event is on Sunday April 9th at Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale. The run/walk includes a 5k, 10k and 10k "plunger" relay and a country mile with 4 country bands and lots of fun & games including Cow Milking.
We need help both at the event, and at packet pickup on Saturday April 8th.
Saturday, Redneck Run Packet Pickup is at Sole Sports in Glendale. Packet pickup is open from 1 to 5 - but we need helpers a bit before and a bit after. As a volunteer, you will greet participants and give them a goodie bag and their race number for Sunday.
Put on your cutoffs and cowboy hats and join us April 8th and/or 9th!
