The Iris Compass Foundation was founded in 2012 to help empower women and provide a new direction for women in need. The Iris Compass Foundation is dedicated to helping any woman expand her mind, but especially women without the financial means to do so otherwise. We will do this thru education and support, and by providing or directing to appropriate resources.


The Iris Compass hosts bimonthly classes at the Nashville Public Library (locations vary). These classes are in the following areas:

  • Financial Literacy
  • Career Development
  • College prep and planning

This is where we need your help! We need teachers to develop course and content and teach classes, especially in the areasof college prep and planning.

Classes are held the first and third Tuesday of the month. We plan for 30-45 presentations and then time for Q&A
