Teen Dating Abuse Prevention Starts with future generations learning how to recognize caring v. controllong behaviors, how to spot the warning signs of an abusive relationship, and how to build a healthy relationship through communication.
We are seeking to wor with a unique team of volunteer Teen Dating Abuse Prevention Educators for our bloom365 program in Phoenix-area schools.
QUALIFICATIONS: Articulate, fun, creative and passionate about ending teen dating abuse | Firsthand knowledge of dating abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault prevention | Able to facilitate lessons and meaningful conversation with a classroom of 30-200 teens | Experience working with youth | Available during the school day | Age 18 and over | Local to Maricopa County, AZ
REQUIREMENTS: Completion of the 10 hour bloom365 facilitator training | Clear criminal background check | Arizona fingerprint clearance card | Reliable transportation
PREFERRED: Bilingual (Spanish) | Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Public Health, or other relevant field. | Performing arts (improv, drama, dance) students encouraged to apply.
