Job Description - We are seeking a volunteer who would focus on helping to assemble, write and send out our monthly newsletter as well as any other communication pieces we need to deliver via Constant Contact. Quarterly clean up and/or organization of the Constant Contact database would also be needed. This position would assist the Executive Director, Co-founders and the PR/Marketing team to work on monitoring and maintaining the organization’s presence and outreach via our Newsletter and Constant Contact. Responsibilities could include working with any all with regard to strategy and/or day-to-day functions:
Constant Contact - monitor and maintain the organizations email data base ensuring it’s up to date, segmented as needed and ready to be used for newsletters and organizational alerts
Chapters - Collecting chapter email database information and incorporate it into the National Constant Contact database as well as keep it compartmentalized for Chapter specific use
QUALIFICATIONS
5AA A passion for Project HEAL’s mission and the love of writing along with knowledge of the use of Constant Contact as a tool of communication
5AA Must be able to commit to 5-10 hours per week ( time may be less in the beginning of project but more as we get towards the event)
5AA Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
5AA Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external senior executives, HEAL PR and Marketing team members, HEAL chapter team members andvendors
5AA Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
5AA Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows NT, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software
- Display strong Integrity, honesty and a willingness to operate as a t eam player

Project HEAL is a 501(c)3 non- profit organization that provides access to healing for all people with eating disorders.
Description
Since its founding in 2008, Project HEAL has provided over 100 applicants with access to live-saving treatment for their eating disorder, established over 30 Chapters and 25 Ambassadors bringing Project HEAL's mission and values to communities across the United States, and developed partnerships with more than 30 recognized eating disorder treatment providers across the US. The primary function of Chapters is to serve as robust local recovery communities that offer resources for those affected by eating disorders and opportunities to volunteer and make a difference in the lives of those affected by eating disorders.
We are an organization with a large volunteer base and have many volunteer opportunities available year-round. We are always looking for new people who have an interest in and passion for helping others suffering from eating disorders, poor body image, and low self-esteem.
