Are you ready to make a positive impact by being a tutor and mentor for amazing school-aged children? Avalon Housing supports families who have experienced homelessness. We are looking for volunteers to assist with our three After School Programs located at 1500 Pauline, 31 Carrot Way, and 701 Miller Community Centers. We are recruiting volunteers who can commit at least 1 day a week for a least 1 semester throughout the school year.

Our sites ASP's need volunteers at the following times:

  • 31 Carrot Way: Mon-Wed 3:40-5:20pm

Volunteers work alongside and under the guidance of Avalon staff and interns to provide a safe, fun and creative learning environment. Volunteers must be willing to complete all forms associated with gaining clearance to work with Avalon youth, including a background check.
